We arrived.....

Just wanted to let everyone know that we arrived safely. With the moving company no showing, and having to cancel them, and then renting a UHAUL to move ourselves, that sure could have been enough choas for us!!!! With the long trip, we were all very anxious to get to the house unpack a few things and relax......... of course we had to have drama. We unlocked our front door (everyone full of smiles), walked in, and smiles turned to concern as we noticed water on the entry floor. Our concern very quickly turned to panic as we found most of our house had water standing on the floors. We had Service Master here to 3 am, and now have a beautiful house torn apart. No baseboards, carpet, and fans, and dehumidifies everywhere!!! The rooms affected were...... Kelton's room, Kitchen, dinette, pantry, hallway, front entry, formal dining, formal living, laundry, and master bedroom. We now have major demolition, and reconstruction to do:(
On the upside, The weather has been fantastic ,and we have already met a few great neighbors. The kids are enrolled in school, and will get to meet their teachers yet this week.
