House Update

Just thought I would update everyone on the house. Currently our kitchen and Keltons room are off limits. There are plastic tents surrounding them and no entry is allowed. All of our kitchen cupboards ended up being torn out. So I currently have no sink, stove, oven, or even microwave. All the granite broke into pieces when they tried to remove it, which means we have to have all new granite installed. The cabinet guy came to take a look at our mess, and we found out that they no longer do our stain or glazing on cabinets, so getting them to match is going to be impossible. Once we find out what we will be doing with the cabinets, they are an estimated 6-8 weeks out. The carpet guy came and measured everything, and gave us a price immediately, and said we could have the carpet installed around January 6, if we let him know before Christmas. Well, our insurance adjuster in on vacation, and the person who she said would give us all of our numbers to work off of, will not return our phone calls. So now the soonest we can have the carpet it Mid to Late January. The drywall company was a no show, and they no longer make a match to our granite, so we had to pick our new. Wow, we have a mess. We are Thankful that my parents are fairly close, so we can get a couple good meals of week:) Thanks MOM!!!
